Peter Perry
Peter has over 25 years experience in VAT. An initial period with Customs & Excise was followed by appointments as Senior VAT Manager for KPMG in their Birmingham and Leicester offices. Peter's expertise includes all aspects of property, new developments, and refurbishments and the education sector. He is also an experienced trainer, presenting VAT updates and developing training material.

Andrew Baker
A Chartered Certified Accountant, Andrew has been a VAT specialist since 1984 and was KPMG's National Head of VAT Services to Colleges. A renowned education expert, Andrew has advised over 120 colleges and universities, is a consultant to the College Finance Directors VAT Liaison Group and has been involved with the FE sector since 1992 advising the FEFC and the LSC on VAT issues affecting the sector. Andrew's approach is hands on, helping you to implement VAT systems that are efficient.

Phil Hazel
A Chartered Accountant, Phil joined us in 2003 having worked for KPMG in Birmingham for over 30 years, the majority of that time spent as a Senior VAT Manager. Phil has considerable experience in all aspects of land and property development, mergers, acquisitions, charity trading and partial exemption work, as well as a broad knowledge of VAT generally having specialised in this field for over 20 years following prior periods in audit and general tax advisory areas. As with Andrew, Phil's approach is very much hands on to ensure that VAT advice is followed through and dealt with correctly.
