Paul de la Pena

Paul de la Pena can justifiably claim to be one of Davies Mayers Barnett's first clients. In fact, his association with founding partner Tim Davies goes back even further, when Tim worked at KPMG in Birmingham.

Paul said: "I rated Tim very highly then and my opinion has only increased over the years. He is a trusted adviser and valued friend."     

Paul built his PDP group of companies up from scratch in the 1960s after his father sacked him and his brothers from the family business. He went on to establish De La Pak, a successful packaging business; De La Pena Oil, an industrial oils and fluids company and Biosensori, a bacteria detecting process.

Over the years, Davies Mayers Barnett has provided Paul with a full range of financial and tax advisory services to enable him to grow his businesses and then advised him on the eventual sale of these three companies.  

Paul takes an active role in running his market-leading industrial cleaning process business, Freddy Products, with Davies Mayers Barnett advising him on the most efficient tax and management structures to employ.
