Peter Lingham
Davies Mayers Barnett have been acting for Peter Lingham since the mid 1990s, in both a personal and corporate capacity, providing accounting advice and support in various capacities over the years.
Peter, an accountant by training, identified an opportunity in the IT reseller market and formed Alpha Landsteiner Limited. Capitalising on the skills and contacts he had previously developed, the business flourished and a successful sale soon followed.
Not one to sit back on his laurels, Peter formed another business in 2007 which was acquired in 2010 by a national software and consultancy group in which Peter now holds a significant interest.
Tim Davies has provided strategic and general business advice throughout, whilst Claire Clift delivered to the business a cost effective and responsive compliance service. During the course of our involvement, the firm was required to visit Reykjavik when it was light for virtually 24 hours and sulphur permeated the water supply, to assist in negotiating a transaction with Icelandic financiers.
Davies Mayers Barnett remain close advisors to Peter, assisting him with various ongoing corporate and personal tax planning matters.
