Did you know?
That the Government expect to raise £1.1 billion from landfill tax this year. While the rate of tax is increasing from 1 April 2008 by 33%, the tax yield is only projected to increase by 22%.
2009 and beyond
It is understood that this is expected to rise to £48 per tonne from 1 April 2010.
