£4050 raised for Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Staff at DMB have completed another year of fundraising with an amazing £4050 raised for The Skin Cancer Appeal and the Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. The charity was nominated by Rachel Nokes from the Audit team in memory of her father.

Cathryn Worth from the charity came to DMB’s office this week to collect the cheque and to congratulate the Team for their superb efforts.

Each year, staff vote for a charity to support during the year and then take part in various activities to raise funds including cake sales and dress-down days. The firm also make a donation in lieu of sending Christmas cards each year. At the end of the year, the Partners triple up money raised by staff so for every £1 raised, £3 goes to the charity.

This year’s Charity of Year is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The charity has been nominated by James Chappell in the Personal Tax team who knows first-hand about the excellent work the Trust does as his daughter Freya suffers from the condition.
