Kate has specialised in tax since starting her career with Coopers & Lybrand in 1992. Since then she has gained considerable experience including five years in Grant Thornton's senior management team in Birmingham advising sizeable owner managed businesses.
Kate is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant who is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, a qualified financial adviser and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Her extensive and wide-ranging knowledge allows Kate to consider clients' financial issues in the round, rather than from a purely tax driven perspective.
At Davies Mayers Barnett, Kate focuses on providing practical tax advice to clients on all aspects of personal and company matters.
In her spare time Kate enjoys running half marathons, scuba diving, yoga and cooking.
